UPDATE: New Blog!!!!

Hi Guys,

I know I have been MIA for a long long long time. It has just been that I had started this blog as a way to express my style and random thoughts. But I guess I got lost on the way. And I just feel that I am not able to provide the content I should as I am not in that frame on mind at the moment. So I will be taking a Hiatus for couple of weeks.

However till then I do have another address. I have loved reading for as long as I remember and so finally I decided to start a bookish blog where I talk about books and other random stuff.  It called A Bibliophile Like Me. If you guys could check it out ( here ) it would mean so much to me. I also shot a youtube video. What!!!! I was getting bored ;-)

Its been almost 12 years since Mean Girls came out. Ohh the time when Lindsay was still sane. I am not sure if Regina George is still a evil bitch and Gretchen's hair is full of secrets and Karen's boobs tell when its going to rain and Damien is too gay to function. But one thing i can tell with certainity is 'Fetch' still isnt a thing. It never was and never will be 😈

Weekend lustings

Hi Guys,

I have had pretty eventful last week with my cousins and parents visiting. It was like being back home once again. It was string of nights full of chitter chatter, IPL , playing Jenga and fighting to see who gets to sleep under the fan. Oh the Heat! I tell you. It’s been crazy. Being inside an air conditioned building for better part of the day doesn’t really let you experience the full onslaught of the May heat. The nights are a different story all together. I am the kind of person who needs the warm embrace of the blanket to get a good sleep but this month we been having kinda tiff with there being at least a feet between both of us. I can’t wait for the rains to start so we can get back together :-D . Ahh!! I digress.

As I was saying, it was a fun week. And even though I was having a really freakingly hectic week at work, coming home to crazy siblings seemed to work as an immediate destressor. We were supposed to go to the Wet & Joy waterpark at Lonavla during the weekend but we ended up waking at 10 am and our plans went swirling down the tube (no pun intended). So we did the next best thing, we went shopping :-P Actually I was on a no shopping diet for last couple of months and this was like my after rehab probation stint. I did get lot of stuff but mostly for my cousins so I guess I am in the clear. Currently I am lusting 2 things

1. Chanel No.5 
2. Kylie Jenner lip kit in Posie K. 
   

   
   

But sadly we don’t have any store in Pune that sells Chanel and Kylie lip kits are all sold out. The aching continues…….

Last couple of months i been feeling like i am this cog in a monotonous daily soap. Nothing crazy has been happening. Its like i am 21 all over again trying to figure out what i wanna do with my life. Have you guys seen Frances Ha movie?? Its one of my favourite movies of all time. So there is this conversation in the movie (look below :P) and i was talking to this guy and he asked me what do i do and this scene just flooded my mind. I still don't know what i wanna do with my life. Urging!!!

The Originals Rant

I am writing this post in kind of mad daze. I am so pissed off after the most recent episode of The Originals. I mean seriously (sorry for the spoilers) you had to break the sire lines. And if you had to why for Niklaus!!! It could very well have been Elijah. Nik is a dad now for heaven's sake. And now without the sire bond all the bloody vampires in history are gonna come after him. I have just got a feeling that they gonna kill him off saving Elijah or Hope or some one to give redeem ability to his character. Which is like grrrrr!!! He is obviously my favourite and though it does a lot the the plot line it kinda really bugs me out. The only drop of happiness is the fact that Elijah now hold the gun with the white oak bullets. But still anyone could just steal it or that Davina (Hate Her) could cook some spell up and kill Klaus. I just hope they find a way to sire him back to all the vampires again. Come friday already!! Cant wait for the next episode. Check out the promo for next week's episode below. :D

Summer love!!

The cold months are officially over. And frankly speaking its a mixed emotion. No more sleeping off in the chilly bubble like a baby. But then shorts, flipflops, ice creams you just cant help being glad. Summers have a kind of nostalgic feel to it. The warm breeze always ends up taking me back to my childhood summer vacation. Riding bike through the colony, going fishing, early morning jogs, playing till sun down. Maybe thats why its my favorite season. It takes me to the time when biggest complication in life was chosing either vanilla or chocolate flavor of the ice cream 😬

Formal Shormal

Hi Guys...

Isn't wearing formals 5 days week such a drab. You cant experiment much without having everybody stare at you. What i like is to wear formals without getting the feel that i am wearing formals. One best way to do that is with accessories. In the below outift i have put a casual feel to a boring trousers and shirt with a bright beanie and ankle boots.

Travel Diaries: Kerala

Hi Guys,

Happy new year!! I know i am 15 days late but better late than never right ;) So hows the new year treating you guys? Mine's been pretty okay okay. Only difference i didn't make any resolutions. What i did was i set myself some goals. You see the word "Goal" sounds more serious than "Resolution". Resolutions are meant to be broken right. And goal number 1 is "to be serious in life". Now when i say serious i mean growing up, being adult serious. Responsible and stuff. And i am trying to get on that highway.

Another one is to travel which brings me to today's post. I love travelling. You can spend quality time with your friends and family, you can ignore calls and texts and not get chastised for it. Just the recharge you need for body and soul. So last week of Dec i had been to Kerala. It was like a family trip with my uncles and aunts and cousins. It was amazing. The place is beautiful. It still has that touch to the old world before the malls and all the pollution and traffic. It was the most peaceful i had felt whole 2015 :-)
